These treadmills are easy to fold or unfold, making them ideal for small living spaces. They can also be easily stored when not being used. Some models come with wheels for easy transportation.
One of the most well-known small, folding treadmills on the market is this model from SereneLife. It's designed to work with various weights and heights with a variety of adjustable settings. The company only sells two treadmills, which means it's not a company you should expect to be at the forefront of fitness technology. Its frame and motor are more robust than the other folding treadmills at this price, and it has a huge running deck that is suitable for running at top speeds. The deck is a bit smaller than other models I've tested however, it's still comfortable for the majority of users.
The Commercial 1250 can track your heart rate with the SmartBeat wireless chest strap (sold separately) and the treadmill makes use of that data to automatically adjust the speed and incline in accordance with your optimal training zone. The treadmill also comes with iFit program, which includes an extensive collection of workouts and video with elite athletes and coaches. The iFit program also offers guided runs that can lead you to places like Patagonia. The treadmill will still function if you don't want to use iFit. The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a quite heavy for a treadmill that folds, and it requires a decent amount of space for operation. It is easy to move, though, and the treadmill comes with a warranty that extends for 10 years. The warranty is longer than some other treadmills that are in this price range, which is great to see.
